Despite dropping out of the Paris Olympics qualifiers this year, two Fijian Kulas players have been named in the OFC Women’s Oceania Qualifier team of the tournament.
Included in the line-up are Cema Nasau and Adi Litia Bakaniceva alongside four Kiwis, three Solomon Islanders, and two Samoans.
Nasau and Adi Litia slot in at midfield alongside Kiwis’ Kate Taylor and Indian Paige Riley.
Fiji bowed out in the semifinals following a 1-7 loss to the Kiwis who went on to register a formidable 11-1 victory over the Solomon Islanders in the final at the FFS Football Stadium in Apia.
