Seafront Apartment: Home Away from Home in Sigatoka, Fiji

January 21, 2024

Nestled on the Korotogo junction in Sigatoka, you will find a gem in a hotel that stamped its mark as an affordable and reasonable home away from home in Seafront Apartment.

Described as a breath of fresh air, Seafront has become a hit with locals needing a rest and tourists who long for an escape yet not completely cut off from everything.

Hotel Manager Michael Bali, a seasoned hotelier, said while the hotel was fairly new its guest reviews amongst other things have put it on the map in Fiji.

“We have 17 apartments containing 1 bedroom and a separate lounge and 17 studio rooms. The apartments at the moment are at a special rate of $250 while the studio rooms are at $150 a night,” Mr Bali said.

The hotel has also become a pit-stop for those traveling to Nadi or to Suva.

“People stop to use the washroom and have a bite because of the well known Sitar Indian and Thai restaurant and we have a very good pizza eatery that is quite cheap.”

Housed in the complex as well is a beauty spa, as well as a swimming pool in the back end, that one need not look further for that wholesome RnR.

“In the evenings we offer an alternate to the noisy nightclubs in town and that’s our bar out on the decking called “Breezy” because it basically sits out on the front welcoming the sea breeze.”

After spending more than 30 odd years in the hotel industry, Bali says a hotelier’s dream to offer their guests a home away from home experience is what can be found at Seafront.

Married to Salote, who herself is an expert in the hospitality industry in Fiji, the couple have four children who have all grown up in Sigatoka.

“They’ve grown up around the hotel industry and have seen the many changes over the years.”

Seafront gives off a warm homely environment from meeting the restaurant staff, to their spa attendants and housekeeping personnel.

“And that has been our aim. That your first stay will make you determined to return to Seafront. After all, your comfort and happiness matters the most to us,” Bali added.
