A 7-year-old girl is dead and her 11-year-old brother is in serious condition at the Ba Hospital after they drank a harmful substance allegedly forced on them by their father who Fijian authorities say is also dead.
Fiji Police said the incident happened in Tavarau in Ba yesterday afternoon.
Authorities did not release any other details only saying that the father was in his 40s adding that investigations are underway.
