Seventy-eight students and an adult were injured when a bus tumbled along Ajodhya Prasad Road, in Banaras, Lautoka yesterday afternoon.
As of this morning, eight primary students remain admitted in hospital for serious injuries while the rest were treated and sent home yesterday.
Fiji Police Assistant Commissioner Operations (ACPO) Livai Driu said the incident is unfortunate, and he is calling on all parties to be patient as they carry out their investigation.
Police have yet to interview the driver.
