A 28-year-old man is being investigated over an alleged case of an attempted break-in, in one of 12 curfew-related arrests over the last three days.
According to police, the man was trying to break into a parked car in Suva last night, in what was also the only arrest made Wednesday.
Six arrests were made Monday with two case each recorded in southern and northern divisions and a case each in the western and eastern divisions.
“Two men were arrested drunk sitting at a bus stop along the Waisali Highway in Savusavu whereas two men were arrested drunk in Sigatoka and Nakasi,” Acting ComPol Rusiate Tudravu said.
On Tuesday, police made five arrests – three men were arrested drunk in Samabula and two others were found moving around during curfew hours without any valid reason.
