A man in his late 40s is dead and two others, including a 14-year-old, have been hospitalised after the vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road in Sigatoka last night.
The accident happened along Valley Road in Navula.
The deceased was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a man in his late 50s from Sawene, Navosa.
Police said the driver allegedly failed to negotiate a bend causing the vehicle to veer off the road.
“The victim died at the scene of the accident while the driver and a 14-year old student from Draiba Village are currently admitted at the Sigatoka Hospital.”
